Children make a shield of protection to prepare for spiritual battle.

Children make a telescope they can use to pretend to watch for Jesus when He returns in the clouds.

Dressed And Ready

Children quickly get dressed to show how they can listen and be ready for when Jesus returns.

Everyday Armor

Children learn the importance of putting on the full Armor of God, as they would dress warmly for a cold winter's day.

Keeping Alert

Children see the difference between keeping alert while watching for the Lord and being unprepared for His return.

Remember Prayer And Fasting

Children play a simple memory game to show that prayer and fasting are powerful ways to prepare for spiritual battle.

LESSONS

Full Armor Of God

This lesson introduces young children to the full armor of God and the protection they have as followers of Jesus.

How Do We Fight For The One?

In this lesson, children learn that we fight in a spiritual war when it comes to sharing the Word of God. We can prepare for this battle through prayer and fasting.

Watching For Jesus
