Candy Tree
Children can pluck a treat from the candy tree for a good behavior reward.
A candy tree is basically a 1" diameter wooden dowel rod, 3 to 4 feet in length, that's securely attached to a wooden base. The dowel rod should have 20 to 30 holes drilled into it at a slight angle. Place sticks of lollipops or tootsie-roll pops into the holes. If children have been good throughout the class period they get to pluck one of the treats from the candy tree on their way out of the classroom.
