ACTIVITIES

Time For God

An activities chart will help each child see how he or she might spend a whole Saturday. After having fun completing the charts, the kids will be able to see how much time they leave for God.

What Is Jealousy?

Our jealousy is wrong, but God’s jealousy is holy and just.

What's In The Jar?

The children will guess the contents of each jar to learn about being “filled” by Jesus!

BULLETIN BOARDS

Consider God's Wonders

With this colorful bulletin board, children take time to stop and consider God's many wonders, as suggested in Job 37:14

LESSONS

God Is Jealous

This Sunday school lesson will explain the difference between God’s jealousy and human jealousy. The children will understand why jealousy is one of God’s attributes and one of humanity’s defects.

God Will Bless Me

In the third lesson covering Psalm 23, the kids will learn that God's love will follow them all of the days of their lives and that only through Jesus will they be both contented and blessed.

Only Jesus Can Complete Me

Living for Jesus means relying on Him.

The Prodigal Son

With this lesson the children will have a good idea of what matters in life. The choice between material possessions or relationship will determine how they would want to live their lives, and hopefully, it will make them realize that a life full of materialism cannot fulfill an empty heart.

Wandering In The Desert

After completing this Sunday school lesson, the children will learn that God does not like it when people grumble or complain. He wants us to be happy, and content.

OBJECT TALKS

Be Grateful

Prayers must be sincere and heartfelt or they are little more than wasted breath.

Green-Eyed Monster

A jealous heart is never happy. An object talk to show how easily jealousy can show its ugly green eyes.

On Loan

"Godliness with contentment is great gain." 1 Timothy 6:6 NIV

Value Others Above Yourself

The children will discover how to apply God’s Word through an object talk to prefer others over themselves.
