SERIES DESCRIPTION

The three lessons in this series show how Daniel remained faithful to God even when faced with some difficult situations. Children learn about obedience, faith, behavior, and trusting in the power of God. 

Lesson 1 - A Meal Fit for a King

This lesson will introduce the children to a young man named Daniel. They will learn that from an early age, Daniel and three of his friends chose to live by God's standards, even if it meant standing up to the king. Bible Verse - Proverbs 20:11; Bible Story - Daniel 1:1-21. 

Lesson 2 - The Fiery Furnace

In this lesson, children learn about the courageous faith and obedience of three young men named Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. Bible Verse - Acts 5:29b; Bible Story - Daniel 3

Lesson 3 - Daniel and the Lion's Den

In this lesson, children discover how God kept Daniels safe from harm. They will also learn that when they remain faithful and trust in God, He will also help them during troublesome times. Bible Verse - Psalm 118:6a; Bible Story -
Daniel the Praying Man; Optional Bible Story - Daniel 6:1-28.
