SERIES DESCRIPTION
The three lessons in this series show the children what they can do to get ready for Jesus and be aware of His presence.
Lesson 1 - Waiting For Jesus
This lesson will help children understand the importance of being ready while waiting for Jesus' return. They will also learn what it means to be patient. Bible Verse - Psalm 27:14; Bible Story - Luke 12:35-40.
Lesson 2 - Watching For Jesus
This lesson will help the children understand what it means to watch for the coming of the Lord. They will also learn that only our Father in Heaven knows when, but we are all responsible to keep faithful and alert until that day comes. Bible Verse - Matthew 24:42; Bible Story - Mark 13:32-37.
Lesson 3 - Hearing Jesus
This lesson will help children understand that God hears them and they can hear Him too through the Holy Spirit. They will also learn that they are like sheep, kept safe in God’s hands. Bible Verse - John 8:47; Bible Story - John 10:7-10, 27-30.
