SERIES DESCRIPTION
The Bible is full of interesting and special people. Lessons in this series are about some of those men and women found in the New Testament. You can use these lessons by themselves as stand-alones, or together as a series.

Lesson 1 - John the Baptist
Children will learn how John the Baptist was very special to God because he prepared the people for Jesus. Bible Verse - Luke 1:14; Bible Story - Matthew 3:1-6.
Lesson 2 - Mary and Martha
In this lesson, the children will discover how to be aware of Jesus and when to give Him their special attention. Bible Verse - Hebrews 12:2a; Bible Story - Jesus Visits Mary and Martha; Optional Bible Story - Luke 10:38-41.
Lesson 3 - Zacchaeus Climbs a Tree
In this lesson, the children will learn how to watch and listen for Jesus and follow Him in obedience every day of their lives. Bible Verse - Luke 19:10; Bible Story - Luke 19:1-10.
Lesson 4 - Bartimaeus Sees Jesus
In this lesson, the children will learn that they can see Jesus, when they seek Him with all their heart. Bible Verse - Jeremiah 29:13; Bible Story - Mark 10:46-52.
Lesson 5 - Nicodemus and Being Born Again
In this lesson, the children learn that when they believe in Jesus, they can be born again of the Spirit and have eternal life with Him in Heaven. Bible Verse - John 3:36a; Bible Story - John 3:1-15.
