Purpose of Prayer

Children learn the importance of communicating with God on a regular basis.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

You will give each child a copy of the activity page and a pencil. Read each scenario and give the children several minutes to answer the question. After each scenario, let students share their answers; the teacher will use the teacher guide to explain how each scenario is related to prayer.  

WHAT YOU WILL SAY:

Our activity page has four scenario's that relate to how we communicate with others. I will give you several minutes to read the  first senario and answer the question. We will then discuss your answers and I will then explain how the scenario relates to communicating with God. We will complete the next three scenarios, one at a time, in the same manner.
